Aananda Serene

The project explores the idea of community garden as a shared amenity. The plotted developed spread over 50000 sq mts, explores the idea of landscape over house. The idea is to live away from the hustle bustle of the city, where the home is just a shelter whereas nature takes the centre stage. The community spaces seen as dedicated COP areas are equally distributed amongst all the plots, combing to become linear gardens. These liner gardens are physically and visually accessible to a cluster of 10 units, which are accessed from the secondary street.

The master plan is a simple, clear idea of plots accessed from the secondary streets, punctuated by linear garden and jewelled with a central club which becomes a place for gathering.

The linear gardens explore the seasonal variations which nature brings to us through a very well curated planting palette. Summer, Winter and Tropical – are themes to the three linear strips of garden. The residents not just choose the plot size, unit size but they actually choose the seasonal home, the whole notion of colours & aroma of the seasonal variations.

Summer garden is all about warm colours – yellow, red & orange flowers, while winter garden is about cool colours – violets & purple. The tropical garden which hosts the club house is a garden of palms. The residents feel the ever transforming landscape of the scheme, while they move around the gardens year long, recognising and acknowledging Mother Nature.
