“The Creek project represents an in-depth exploration of master planning for plotted development. This endeavour delves into the concept of placing community spaces at the heart of the design, with residential plots or houses situated around the periphery of the site. A central drive winds its way through lush green landscapes and a water body, creating a distinctive ‘creek’ atmosphere within a wooded area.
The master planning approach is rooted in a harmonious relationship between architecture and landscape design, emphasizing their symbiotic interaction rather than treating landscape as a mere additional layer. The meandering landscape zone alongside the central drive not only enhances the experience of walking, cycling, and even driving through it but also fosters a sense of serenity.
Each unit is thoughtfully positioned within a plot, offering residents their own private green space to savour, all the while enjoying scenic views and accessibility to the communal green areas.”
